There are around total of 17 night shelters at Kashmiri Gate. The capacity of night shelter has been reduced to 20 in order to maintain social distancing. Project Manager of the night shelter, Shailander Singh said, “We have an isolation centre here, if any of them has any symptom we shift them there. Along with food, contaminated water is also provided and a television has also been installed in these shelters to take care of their entertainment.”

      Delhi's air quality remains 'very poor' - Air quality in the national capital is still in the 'very poor' category, even though stubble burning in neighbouring states has come down substantially. In Airport terminal 3, the Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded 312 (very poor), on Mathura road 326, according to the SAFAR-India website. Delhi has recorded ‘very poor’ air quality based on monitoring stations here. “Pollution is always an issue for Delhiites. As a citizen, we need to create less pollution and try to avoid personal vehicles and use public transports,” a local said.
